Dryer not getting hot what do I need toi look for

The Heating Element is probably broken. It is a wire coil located inside the back of the dryer. DO NOT ATTEMPT to open any covers on the dryer without unplugging the dryer. First make sure the dryer controls are set for Hot or Warm.

Took off thermal fuse dont know how to put back on dont know which wire is hot have now put on 2 fuses works 5 min then cools back down i think im putting on fuse wrong didnt know it had a certain way to...

A fuse has no directionality as the circuit is AC powered. You must have air flow over the heating elements to prevent overheating. Check the cleanliness of all air passages including the exit hose and exit vent. Wash the lint screen to remove fabric softener deposit which blocks air flow. Hope this helps!

Dryer is working but not heating

There is a heating element which can be replaced but first check the home's electrical fuse panel or reset the breaker even if it doesn't look like it tripped.
If you have 240V going to the dryer and still no heat it could be either the element, thermostats, timer or wiring.
Whether it's worth the trouble depends on the age of the dryer and your investment of time and money. None of those parts would take longer than an hour to replace. If you want to tackle it let me know and I could try to guide you through it.

Check if the drier is blowing out air from the air duct. If not, the fan pulley is likely broken. With no way to cool the machine the thermostat will be shutting the machine off as it overheats.
