how do I mix gas and oil for my weedeater/trimmer

I have the same problem with a 32cc Craftsman weedwhacker. I replaced the whole carb and it ran great for one day. I started it up this morning and the problem is back. I cleaned the muffler screen and cleaned everything in the fuel system before I bought the new carb, then bought a new gas can and mixed new super unleaded gas with a new bottle of oil right out of the store.

It runs quite a while when I let it idle, but it will eventually die then, too.

I have a craftsman gas 30 cc weedeater. the fuel lines were split but how does one get the fuel filter back in the tank. The hole is offset inside the gas tank so how can I get it installed properly?

fuel lines devolved inside the gas tank, we replaced but now it just keeps stalling.

If the weedwacker runs OK on 1/2 choke or even better on full choke then most likely the cause is the carb gaskets are stiff and can no longer pump the fuel. Of course make sure the fuel lines are are the right ports (return and supply). While you have the carb apart clean all of the passages with carb cleaner.

Hey, someone asked how to put the filter back on the tube. . i just did this today
What i did was use fish tank tubes and connected it pushing the tube all the way in ((really tight fit)) then when it hit the bottom i took a paper clip bent it like a hook and hooked the tube inside the fuel tank and pulled it out. I then placed the filter at the end of the tube and popped it back into the gas tank.
Now i have another problem but I won't hijack this thread.

Poulan 32cc multi-attatchment weedwacker will run with full choke. When you take choke off, it slowly dies. If you give it gas with the throttle trigger, it sounds like it's being muffled and then dies. ...

Try backing out high speed screw counter clock wise a guarter turn. Also check muffler for blockage. Spark arrester screen may be blocked. Remove screen, clean or replace. I use bernzomatic tourch to burn off deposits.

The high speed needle valve needs adjusting and it takes a special splined tool to adjust it. I currently am trying to find where I can purchase the tool to adjust the high and low carburator screws.
