Question about Whirlpool Dryers
You need to clean out your vent. Also, pull the dryer out and clean from the rear of the unit all the way inside as well. If the unit can't "breath", it will shut down the unit on thermal lockout. Until it cools, it will not start back up. It can trip a limit switch that you might have to reset and it is located near the burner assembly.
