I am sure it is the belt and that remaining water is because it is not spinning. It cant spin the last of the water out. The belt is either loose or broken. If it is loose you can still use the washer if you need to by doing what i did (I hope) What i did as a temp fix was wait til the washer goes to spin after draining some if any water. You can hear and feel it click then start to try spinning, As soon as it does stall then give it one good back and forth shave. Itll try to start and then may stall. if it does then give it another shake. The time to shake it is about 2 mins and 10 secs after it starts to try to drain. You know you didnt get it if all the lights are on and the water level light is blinking. then youll have to restat it. Also be sure there isnt too much laundry in the washer when you try this as I think it is the beltwater still in tub water level light blinking - icon1.png slipping or some such. So too much weight and the belt cant catch at all.

There is an adjustable water level sensor up in the electronics bank on many Whirlpool toploaders. It is usually metal, about 2 inches around and has a 3/8" diameter hose going down to the tub that senses air pressure as it fills. Try to back off the half inch screw in the center a little. Check on Google images to see if your machine has something that looks like this somewhat universal adjustable "water level sensor"
(use quotes around your search phrase).

Jets don't work in the jetted tub.

First the obvious, most are electrically connected to a ground fault device, ether an outlet or a breaker. BEFORE ADDING WATER, check these out to make sure they are not tripped. Most all tubs have a minimum water level which must be reached before the jets will operate. This is usually a piece of trim located above the depth of the jets. Make sure the tub is filled to cover this part. If you cant identify the water level device fill the tub so that all the jets are covered by an inch or 2. Some tubs have push button switches or touch pads to control the motor, some have touch sensitive trim. There may be some sort of medallion from the maker on the tub, simply touching it will start the tub. Once you get it going most tubs have a built in timer that turns off the pump in 15 - 20 minutes. For more tub time just hit the switch again but keep in mind that extended exposure in a hot tub can mess with your blood pressure and cause you to loose balance or pass out, hence the 20 minute timer.

Whirlpool washer - basket will not fill with water...to a certain level and water leaks out

Sounds like the outer tub has a hole in it. Some of the newer models had a problem with the inner tub (basket) would rub a hole in the outer tub about 2/3 the way up.

Ice maker not producing any ice.

Pour about 1/2 cup of water into icemaker . Squeeze the black fill tub which is above the icemaker cup . If ice apears to be in it , this indicates that the weter valve is not completely closing , letting a drip ocasionally go thru and freezing inside the tube , ( water valve bad ) . that will be a different solution . If the icemaker dumps the cubes after freezing . and black tube is not frozen , replace the water inlet valve . If the icemaker does not dump the ice after frozen , replace the icemaker ( only 1 screw holds the icemaker in , located on rear portion on right , faceing down . Also check the icemaker rake , which should be about the 2:30 position . To thaw out the black tube (which runs thru the top of the refrig ) a 1/4 push on connector will be needed . Remove the icemaker and use a hairdryer aimed up into the hole . Cut the tubing to the fill tub behind the fridge about 9 inches from where it enters the top of the fridge . This will let warm air inside the top fill line to help thaw . Ocassionally blow thru the 9 inch tube until you can blow thru it . May take a day or 2 , depending how frozen the line is . Once air will go thru , install the push on connector to couple the cut lines back togather .

The blinking red light on the right side , is the receiver for the electric eye for cutting off the icemaker when the door bin is full , This blinking is normal . 2 blinks ...pause...2 blinks..etc .

Do not replace the filter if water flow is good thru the dispensor .

Water continues to fill and overflows

1.Drain hose is too low. Minimum 30 inches from the floor.2.Water fill valve is defective. If it fills with timer set to OFF,replace the water fill valve.
3. The Air hose from the tub to the water level valve is pinched or stopped up with soap scum. Check the air hose for a pin hole, pinched or obstructed..

Whirlpool Ultimate Care II does not completely drain.

Mine will do this if clothes are left in it for a long period of time. The pump will not drain all water out because the will dry out the seals if they do. Your wet clothes dripped in the tub raising the water level to the bottom of the drum and that is why you have wet clothes. Remove clothes as soon as they are done, use cycle signal to avoid this.
