SOURCE: I WANT TO DISCONNECT MY WIRELESS MOUSE AND GO BACK

Just unplug your wireless adapter piece.

Then plug in your wired mouse to the appropriate slot. Some computers require a restart after you do this some don't

Where do you place batteries in a wireless mini mouse

I have seen a couple of ways to get at the batteries on a wireless mouse. One is to look at the bottom to find a standard battery cover complete with a little finger slot that allows the plate to be lifted off from the bottom surface of the mouse.

The other is a sliding latch at the back of the bottom surface of the mouse body that releases the battery flap which then lifts upward. The flap is the backside skin of the top of the mouse.

My MS standard wireless optical mouse doesn't work properly, not even after I replaced the batteries

After you replace the batteries on a wireless mouse you must then sync it to its base. To do this, you must first push the button on the top of the base. The light will then start to blink. Then, you must push the button labeled "connect" on the bottom of the mouse.

Just bought microsoft wireless optical mouse and no instructions with it how do you connect it

Hopefully it came with an install CD ? Firstly keep the old mouse plugged until this one works. Now install the software from CD. With PC turned off plug in the wireless receiver to a spare USB port and power back on. Make sure youve got good batteries in the mouse. Now press the button on the wireless receiver and the lights should be flashing. While they are flashing press the button underneath the mouse. They should now be communicating and the mouse should work. If all is well turn off PC and disconnect old mouse. If you didnt get a CD dont worry if you give me the model of it i can find the software on the internet. ...........cheers from Scott
