I have a 31 cc Ryobi weedeater. When I put it on full choke it starts. Then when I put it on half choke, It starts, revs good for a few seconds then dies. What do I need to do?

This is fuel starvation, check/replace the fuel filter in the tank, no better then you need to make an adjustment to the carb, unfortunately you may need a special tool as many carbs today have anti tamper adjustment screws ( they have no screw driver slot in the head ) check the head of the screw and order the relevant tool off e bay, once you have the tool make small adjustments at a time, they are fuel screws not air screws so unwinding them will richen the mixture, make the adjustment to the L screw. this will be the screw nearest to the cylinder and will help with acceleration, the H screw will control the maximum rpm.

Ryobi problems

Yes sir it is. You need to adjust the carburetor. Unless you have an adjustment tool you'll have to take it somewhere to have this done.

I have a RYOBI pole saw that starts fine, but there is a disconnect between engine and saw blade. The blade will not turn.

I assume you have the Ryobi powerhead with the multiple tool shaft (can use it with an edger, blower, trimmer, and pole saw) If so, does the powerhead square drive spin when you squeeze the throttle trigger? Does the chain move freely on the saw end when not connected? Is the attachment fully inserted into the powerhead shaft (small spring-loaded button should pop out of the hole when fully inserted.

if you get a small flat edged screwdriver or a tuning screwsriver for lelectronics they will both work the same. you shouldn't need a special tool for that.

I need a tool to adjust the mixture screws on my ryobi chainsaw

Most mixture adjustment screws are flat slotted types and usually you can use a flat headed screwdriver to adjust them.
