You may be able to get from Gateway. From a quick search I just did, it looks like Mundo Corp.com, has one. $49 dollars Here is the link,
http://www.mundocorp.com/ml6732.html

Now I don't have a Gateway Service Manual in front of me, for the Gateway ML6732 laptop. I don't believe it's available online. One, has to be an authorized repair shop, to have access to this information.

However, I wish you to know that I am a computer repair tech, and repair laptops all the time.
Keyboard replacement is one of the easier things to do, concerning repairing a laptop.
It is especially easy now for you, as you don't have to remove the old one.

The laptop keyboard will just come by itself, I believe. There are one, or two screws, that hold it in. However, the keyboard has tangs on the outside edges of it. The keyboard 'body' is made of plastic.

These tangs, are just small protrusions, that stick out from the rectangular body of the keyboard itself. The tangs also hold the keyboard in place. Once you sit the keyboard in place, you just push down on the edges, and the tangs snap in. Pop, pop, pop, and the tangs are snapped in.

Before you are ready to install the keyboard, you may have to partially remove a small thin plastic strip. This strip is located above where the keyboard goes, and under the area of the LCD screen.
Viewing it, you should see LED lights in it. There may be speakers in this strip also. The plastic strip goes almost all the way across the front of the laptop.
I know it's starting to sound complicated, but it isn't.

This plastic strip may also have hinge covers, incorporated on the ends of it. They cover the hinges for the LCD screen.
The plastic strip has tangs on it's edges also. To remove it, you take a small flat tip screwdriver,(Like a flat tip jewelers screwdriver), insert it under one of the edges, where it meets the laptop body, and gently pry up.
I say 'Gently', but sometimes it takes a little force. If you can't get the screwdriver down in there, move over. You may be at an area where on of the tangs are.
The strip will come up with a POP! You'll think you broke it! In actuality, you could drive a truck over that plastic strip, and not damage it. (Okay! That's an exaggeration, but you catch my drift)

Watch as you go along. If you have LED lamps in this strip, and/or speaker wires, you don't want to damage the wires.
You are just seeing if you can pop it up, so that you can set it towards the LCD screen. Move it back far enough to get the keyboard in. Should you have to disconnect the wires to move this strip back far enough, you will see real small White connectors. Looks like a small rectangular block. This is a Male/Female connector. Just take your fingernails, and pry these apart.
There may be two wire cables. These cables have different size connectors, so there will be no confusion when reattaching them together.

The laptop keyboard goes in at a 45 degree angle. Bottom towards you, top away from you. You set it down in the laptop body, align the tabs, (tangs), and ease it down. Once you are within about three inches, you connect the one, or two wire cable connectors, from the laptop to the keyboard. Move the cables to a position where they won't be pinched, and go ahead and push the keyboard down into position. Go along the edges of the keyboard, and push down. You are snapping the tangs into position. Snap, snap, snap.

Attach the cables for the plastic strip, if you had to remove them. Watch the cable, (Wire) placement as you did for the keyboard. Snap the plastic strip back into place.

You're done!

This link shows the Gateway MT6704 laptop. It should be very similar to yours. It has large color photos, and instructions, of how to replace a keyboard on this laptop. It should give a basic 'feel' of how to replace yours,

(If this link doesn't come up as a link you just click on, copy (CTRL + C), and Paste, (CTRL +V), it into your address bar. Then press the Enter key)

If you get time, I would appreciate it if you would rate my solution.

My power button is stuck into my computer, how do I get it out? Like how do I dissemble my laptop to get it?

I tried to find a picture that would help you out a lot more, it's not 100%, but most laptops have a removable plastic bevel along the top, and when they do they always have a small slate worries screwdriver can slide into to remove it easily and pop it off little by little. The setups are also different it's hard to say what actually happened, if the plastic pieces on the power springs broke off then you're going to have to replace the entire power board underneath that that will, but even worse if it's not directly connected underneath the bevel, you can have to take the whole computer keyboard off and everything underneath access that little connection.

How do I replace the keyboard on a Gateway LT3119U?

Visit the Gateway support document website and locate the "User's Guide" section of the listings for your laptop model.

You should be able to locate either a "component replacement manual," or a document focusing specifically on replacement of the keyboard for that model (as different models of keyboards have slightly different methods of removing the keyboard.)

You may also wish to check the FAQ's in the support documents of your model, as they may also contain information on replacing the keyboard.

Power down your Gateway laptop and remove the battery.

This will not only ensure that you don't accidentally damage your laptop by powering it up while working on its components, but may also be necessary to reach the mounting screws for your laptop's keyboard.

Press the power button once after the battery has been removed to discharge any remaining electricity that the laptop may have stored.

Consult the support documents for your Gateway laptop model and find out where the keyboard mounting screws are located.

There will most likely be between two and five screws, depending on the specific model of laptop that you own.

You may be required to remove the keyboard bezel (the strip of plastic that runs along the top of the keyboard) in order to reach some or all of the screws; this can be done either by sliding the bezel off to the right of the laptop or by simply lifting it off once loosened (though you may need to use a coin or flat-head screwdriver to detach clips or pry the bezel out of its resting location.)

Remove the screws holding the keyboard in place.

The screws will either be located on the bottom of the laptop (under the space that the battery occupies) or beneath the keyboard bezel.

Put the screws in a safe place where they will not be lost, since you will need to use them to secure the new keyboard.

Lift the keyboard up from the bottom, detaching the keyboard connector and pulling the keyboard itself free from the Gateway laptop, then setting it aside.

You may need to once again use a coin or flat-head screwdriver in order to depress clips which might be holding the keyboard in place.)

Plug your new keyboard into the keyboard connector, then carefully place it back into the space previously occupied by your old keyboard.

If the keyboard is designed to be held in place by clips, press down with sufficient pressure to clip the keyboard into place.

Replace the screws that you had previously removed from the Gateway laptop.

Make sure that the screws are firmly in place both to ensure that the keyboard is secure and also to eliminate any potential problems with replacing the bezel or battery.

Reattach the bezel (if you removed it) and the laptop battery, making sure that all components have been reattached and are firmly secured.

Once the battery is back in place, press the power button to power up the Gateway laptop and give your operating system a chance to recognize the newly-installed keyboard.

hope this helps

It is normal for a Gateway ML6732 that the fan starts when turn on the laptop and then stops the fan couple seconds after that? My laptop gets freeze all the time seconds after.

Hi,

That is normal for when the laptop starts up. That is also a good indication that the fan is working ok. If the fan loud and noisy all the time then there is a build up of dust in the machine and it needs cleaning out,

Regards.

Gateway ml6732 laptop keyboard

Some keyboards have connectors but most have electrical strip.
These slide into a connector on the motherboard, you can't miss it, it is the same width as the electrical strip, but you need to lift a plastic strip retainer to insert the electrical strip and then press the plastic strip back to lock the electrical strip in place.

Gateway ML6732 Crashed ...NEED help

Seems you have OS (first guess) problem so if you have recovery disk then insert it in DVD/CD driver and reboot your laptop.
And follow the instructions appeared on sreen and when you reach installation mode choose repair one if you wanna repair OS otherwise choose fresh Installation.
once you are done you should be good to go and if you have Hardware problems then your system will show the bugs on screen during installation period.
oh! if you have any external drives (Thumb drive, Ipod) plugged in then remove before you start above procedure because due to external drives also it happens if you dont have any plugged in external drives then follow the above procedure.
Thank you and post back if any thing changes.
