Question about ASUS A7N8X-X Motherboard

Don't know the latest nForce2 400 drivers for Windows XP

I tried to find those drivers at the official nvidia web site, but there's no direct link to those drivers (only newer chip sets were listed because I know that nForce2 is such an old chi set). I happen to find driver version 5.10 (what I'm using now) from a random site, but I'm not sure if it is the latest. Does anybody know what is the latest official drivers and where can I download them from?

Oh, sorry, ME BAD! I was not aware that the nForce2 Product Series was listed under the Legacy Product Type. But anyways, I am using the latest version, even though it goes way back in 2004. ;)

You can get them from Nvidia.com. They will be listed as a Legacy driver. I get the old nForce 2&3 drivers frequently from there.

I need driver for ASUS V6800 GeForce 256 Deluxe (32 MB) Graphic Card for windows xp

You can download it from the Asus official website, click this LINK, this will direct you to your graphics card drivers download page. On the page, click the down arrow button on the right side of "O.S" (beside the red texts "*Required") and select "WinXP", the available download options will be displayed to you, click "VGA" to expand it and download the driver. You'll need to click the floppy disk icon labelled as "Global (DLM) etc.." to begin the download. The topmost among the available lists of downloads is the latest version (updated). I would recommend you to download it. Alternatively, you can download it from this LINK(direct download link). The driver package will come down as a zip file. I hope you know how to open zip files on your computer. Windows xp can open .zip file (by default). Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Hello i have a Winfast A340 graphic card and i Know install Windows7 in my home pc but dont work Aero in that please help me where can i find driver for this hardware for windows 7

Sorry to said, there are no official drivers for this VGA for Windows 7. I suggest you to download from this official link the latest windows xp drivers (choose "agree & download"). After the download finish right click at the downloaded file and go to properties and at the compatibility tab check the compatibility with windows xp sp3. Click on apply - ok and run the file in order to install the drivers. At most of the cases this compatibility tip works without any problem.

Nav4_disp conflict?

The nv4_disp fix I was able to successfully restore my computer to tip-top shape in 5 easy steps. Here’s my 10 minute solution.
  1. Boot your computer into Safe Mode w/ Networking. For Windows XP users, this is accomplished by pressing F8 repeatedly when your computer is booting up. You will be presented with several options. Choose “Safe Mode w/ Networking.” This will boot Windows XP into Safe Mode, but you will be able to browse the Web.
  2. Go to NVIDIA’s Web site and download the latest display drivers for Windows XP. I saved the 20MB file to my desktop for easy locating later on.
  3. Remove the NVIDIA display drivers currently installed on your machine. To do this, right click on “My Computer,” then select Properties. Click the “Hardware” tab, then click “Device Manager.” You now see a list of hardware devices installed on your computer. Double click “Display Adapters.” You should now see your NVIDIA card listed. Click it once to highlight it, then click the “Uninstall” icon in the upper right of Device Manager menu. Say “peace!” as the NVIDIA drivers are removed from your machine.
  4. Install the updated NVIDIA display drivers. Double-click the NVIDIA setup file you saved to the desktop earlier. The installation will run its course.
  5. Reboot your computer.
After following these steps, Windows XP should start up as usual (prior to our little nv4_disp bug). Your “nv4_disp” problem is officially solved.
What caused the nv4_disp problem? In short, I have no idea. I’m actually still trying to figure this out, so I welcome any comments about what could have been the cause. In doing some quick searches across the Web, however, I see that this is actually a common problem.
