Question about Bosch WFR 145 Front Load Washer
I have black mould growing on the inner surface of the rubber door seal. I have tried to clean with bleach and ammonia dertegent blend. Mould still remains. Do you have a suggestion as to how to succesfully remove this black mould.
Keeping the door open after your wash would help in keeping the interior dry. Do not push the door shut, just leave slightly open. Only before you begin your wash, check to see your cat is not inside.

Front loaders are known for building up mold and the smell.
It’s caused by using liquid detergent which is made from animal fat. Use powder. And use the minimum amount.
It’s caused by using fabric softener. Dilute it 50/50 with water.
It’s caused by the water remaining in the tub between washes. Leave the door open to allow it to dry. .

SOURCE: black mould
this is the fatal flaw of front load washers, see this complaint over and over, use bleach to clean it or Tilex mold and mildew remover, make sure the hole that drains the seal is clean.
