We were in the right bit, access from the front for us but the hose seems to be stuck fast and it is a hell of a job trying to get it off (the hose). Can you take off all the screws and take the whole pump off? Any more help appreciated please. Thank you.

My Partner did that and put it all back together and found what was stuck in it. When trying it out now the agitator bit/roundy thing is making a noise like it isn't together tight (which it is). Any suggustions? Cheers, Nikki

To access the pump, first bail and sponge out any water in the machine's tub. Then tip the washer over on its front, using a heavy blanket or pad to protect the washer's finish. Remove the back service panel. The pump is usually located along the right side of the bottom of the machine, but with the unit tipped on its front it's easier to remove it through the back than through the bottom of the washer. Locate the pump. It has two large hoses attached to it with spring or strap clips. If the clips are the spring type, pinch the ends of the clips together with pliers to release them, and slide the clips down the hoses. If the clips are the strap type, unscrew the metal collar to loosen the clamp. Disconnect the hoses by pulling them off the connections. If the hoses are kinked or crimped at these connections, straighten them as best you can and reconnect them. Good luck!

Fisher and Paykel Smart Drive Pride 5.5 washing machine will not pump water out...makes a beeping noise when trying to pump water out.

I own and have repaired my smart drive washer. The water pump is very simple to remove on these machines. Unplug the machine and drain as much water from it as possible. There's a small plastic locking tab on one side of the pump. Gently pry it away from the body of the pump and twist the housing until it comes free from the metal pump housing anchor plate. Unplug the pump from it's connection and remove it. Found a guide that should help you -

Hello I have a Fisher and paykel 7.5g smart drive excellence washing machine it doesn't spin and I can smell something burning.thanku Kelly

Has it drained the water out. It will not spin until completely empty. If it is not draining then Iwould say the burning smell is the drain pump overheating. Do not try to run it like that as the drain pump will short out the main control board eventually. Bail the water out by hand, tip the machine back against the wall and check the pump on the front right side of bowl. Replace the pump.

Smart drive 085

It won't spin until all the water is drained out. The drain pump may be blocked or faulty. Fix the drain pump fault first then deal with the filling issue. They will not be related.

Fisher paykel aqua smart fault 49

Fault code 49 is water valves, But the Aqua-Smart board is outputting the wrong code here, The Smart pump has blown the water valves fuse, A common thing in Aqua-Smart Machines.
The Smart pump has jammed with lint and caused over current to the board and taken out parts on the board that drive the pump.
Best to get a new/recondition board for your machine.

I have a Fisher & Paykel 5.7kg GW711 smart drive which has become noisy when spining, what could this be.

usually it is the Motor bearing that goes, but not always, Smart drives are notorious, for these motor problems. But sometimes, it can be something caught, in the drum.

Spin the fan on water pump (you can acess with difficulty from bottom of washer) if it has a little sand in it, it may clear. It is possible to remove water pump if mechanically minded and see if something small eg staple or 5c coin is stuck in it if this dosn't work or you may find you need to replace water pump.
