Try playing with the headphone plug, until you can also hear the right
channel and also try a different set of headphones as it is probably a
matter of an intermittent headphone jack, or plug, owing to sudden
snatching of the headphone plug from same, a very common problem.

Eliminate this cause before submitting your Touch for much more
expensive remedies

I want to play my music from my itouch on my Aiwa NSX-TR77 system (because of the speakers) but do not know how to, or if this is even possible to do so?

It is in fact possible... you can play whatever source to whatever sound system with the correct cable... you need a cable with at one end a headphone output connector (compatible with your Itouch) to an input of your choice on the Aiwa system... usually RCA input (RED & WHITE RCA type connectors) at the other end of the cable...

Cheers!

On deaf ear

sounds like headphone jack is either dirty or loose in the unit or a possible blown fuse.

if still under warrenty I would get it serviced if not then if you feel comfortable opening it up and looking around the inside of the unit around the sounds output jack then you can try that and see if you can find any blown or burnt problems around there loose connections.

My zeppelin speaker is not connecting properly to my itouch. When docked, my Itouch plays music, but no sound from speaker & the remote will not operate my itouch. (it used to work fine).

if it charges, and there is no red flashing light, probably the board that feeds the arm, or the arm itelf, as different ipods have different connections. if the aux feed words it is the arm.

Itouch speaker playing while headphones are connected.

1> Disconnect the ear buds from the itouch

2> Reset the ipod - by holding down the sleep wake button and the home button at the same time until you see the apple logo - the ipod will reboot

3> reconnect ear buds mace sure they are flush with the top of the unit ( no gaps )

play a song to test

**If it is still playing out of both - call apple for repair or go to apple store

Is there a way to listen to movies on 1st gen Itouch w/o headphones?

No only the 2nd Gen+ itouches have the speakers built in, generation 1 itouches dont have speakers, so you must use the microphones. (The speakers arent that loud anyways.)

Music won't play out of one side of the iPod

The answer will not please you. It sounds like the internal connection has been damaged, this is something that is common and not easy to fix with taking the unit apart.

Apple i touch 8 gb speaker not working

maybe u have the 1st gen itouch. the 1st gen itouch doesnt havent speakers. Your friend probably have 2sec gen which has speakers. If u look at each other's itouch carefully, u'll notice a slight difference near the edges. your friend's itouch's edge is probably curved like in the 2sec gen one while urs probably isnt.
