E61 is a focus error. the zoom lens may have gotten tweaked to one side.if this is the case, sometimes you can get lucky and snap it back into place, or make it worse, it's risky. I would try and reset it first. Sony's have a same hole labeled reset located ,most of the time, inside the opening for the memory stick. gently press something sharp into this hole to reset the camera.

My sons polaroid tablet keeps freezing and I can't do anything until it dies. Please help

Try holding down power on switch for 5-10 seconds and see if you get a power down screen popup. If that doesn't work, look for a small hole on the back of the tablet or side that seems to have a piece of metal at the bottom of the hole. Poke this reset switch gently with a toothpick and see if the tablet resets (You can also check the manual for reset information).

Camera saying write protect what does that mean

Take a look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

How come My camera says m memory card is full ony after only taking 3 pictures

Your camera is an 8.0 megapixel camera, which means on the highest and largest settings, the average size of your photos will be 3.5 megabytes. That means only about 3-4 shots on a 16 mb card, which was probably the size included with your camera.

The settings I would recommend for normal, everyday picture taking would be Medium 3 Superfine or Medium 2 Superfine. These will print out on 4x6 very nicely. But on a 16 mb card, you will still only get 9-14 shots.

I would also recommend getting a larger storage card. You can get a 4 gb card for less than $20 and that will get you well over 500 shots before having to clear the card.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

Missing charger/power cable

if the power socket is a normal socket like a nokia phone charger you might be able to get a universal variable volt adaptor. i got one for my base station for my ipod as i lost the mains adaptor. bought it from Argos though im sure there are other stores that sell the same or similar.

I am experiencing the exact same problem with my 3695 (as described in my Post on here). It was working fine for a long time.. and then didn't.
I returned the unit to Vivitar in California, and they assured me that the Camera is fine.
Sorry to see that you are having the same problem, but glad to know that I'm not imagining things. :)
Hope that you get an answer to your problem soon - mostly because it will mean that I get an answer to mine (just kidding!)
Best of luck.
