It is a little difficult you have to remove the old one. then fish the new one through the hols and then get a angled object to push on the new filter as you are pulling on the new fuel line. then after it is in place feed the retainer ring over the new line and filter end as you are pulling on the fuel line to keep it in place. a Bent pare of needle nose players works good for installing the retainer ring good luck.

Echo PB 251 won't run. replaced plug, gas, fuel filter, air filter. took carb a part, and cleaned with carb cleaner, used the compressed cleaner to clean out venturis/ports.

Wow! with all you have done it should run. Be sure the switch is on but if you are getting spark, it should be on. I would take it to the echo place for service.

Bulb doesn't release even with fuel lines disconnected. Completely took carb apart and everything looks good.

If you took off the fuel lines and the primer bulb will not re-inflate than the problem is not the Carb, it is in the lines or in tank fuel filter. Fish the filter out of the tank with a piece of wire to see if that is the issue. Also take each of the lines off of the bulb clean them and try to put some air though them. If they do not let air in easily then that is the problem. The next issue would possibly be the diaphrams located inside the carb, there are two of them and are easily replaced. All the parts to replace those pieces are usually easily found at a local hardware store. Hope this helps.

Brand new PP4620AVX, filled it with gas, tried to start but no gas is getting to carb.

It's not getting fuel, either the fuel lines are plugged or they may be broken. Take off the air filter cover and the air filter. Check the fuel lines going into the carburator. Wiggle them a little, they may be broken and need to be replaced. Also check the fuel filter, use a 6-8", bend a hook on one end and fish out the filter from the fuel tank. It might be best to take the saw into a repair dealer if you can't figure how to get to the various parts on the saw.

Can't find 1995 Honda airinatake filter location?

Take off your side covers, unbolt the drivers seat (one bolt each side of bike), turn off gas, unplug fuel line from fuel petcock, remove the rear tank mounting bolt, lift off the fuel tank pulling toward the back of the bike, this will expose the top of the air cleaner. Remove the top cover of the air box, the filter is underneath.

What would cause my 92 4.9L to run very rich, idle bad, feels like its not getting fuel while driving. Has new fuel pump in front, removed rear. have checked plugs, vac lines, MAP, FPR, IAC valve, coolant...

OK WHEN YOU CHANG ANY FUEL PUMPS YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE GASKET AS THE OLD GASKET GETS EXPOSED TO THE AIR AND EXPANDS WHICH THEN LETS AIR IN IF THE CAR IS ON PETROL THE PUT IRIDIUM PLUGS IN A BMG AIR FILTER(THIS AIR FILTER IS NON THROW AWAY) THEN THE SPARK PLUG LEADS CHANGE THEM TO 10MM TOP GUN PRO RACE SERIES IGNITION SPARK PLUG LEADS THEN LOOK AT AFTER MARKET COLD AIR INTAKE PUT PRO RACE FUEL ADDITIVE PUT THE WHOLE BOTTEL IN AS THERE COULD BE SMALL PARTICALS IN THE FUEL LINES AND INJECTORS IF ALL THIS SOUNDS OVERBOAD THEN YOU COULD TRY REMOVING THE FUEL IJECTORS AND REPLACE THEM WITH GOOD QUALITY ONES UNFORTIANTLY THESE DAYS THE PETROLS WE PUT IN OUR CAR ARE FULL OF CRASP AND CAN BE VERY ABBRASIVE

I have a 2005 ford f150 lariat supercrew with a 5.4 engine, my truck bogs at accelaration. I clean the throttle body out, change the fuel filter, spark plugs, but the problem still remains. Thank you for your...

try cleaning the maf (mass air flow sensor) it is located just out side the air cleaner box just before the large air hose heading to Intake use electrical parts cleaner and toothbrush or a cotton swab to clean this, but be carefull part is fragile and expensive to replace, look for two exposed small wires located on the bottom of the sensor that would be exposed to ingoing intake air this is what needs cleaned, soot or dirt will cause a improper air fuel mixture generally lean causing power loss good luck

I need to change the fuel filter. where is it located. do i need special tools ?

The fuel filter on most Mazda cars can be located on a bracket in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir or as part of the fuel pump assembly.

On the Millenia, the fuel filter is located beneath an access cover in the trunk. Access to the cover is achieved by removing the trunk mat to expose the cover.

The filter on Mazda 3 models is part of the fuel pump assembly.

Tip: Safety Tip:Always wear safety glasses when working on your vehicle. Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or safety shoes.

  • 2. If the fuel filter has a clear case, inspect the filter element for dirt.

  • 3. If the fuel filter case is not see-through, remove it from the fuel line. Drain the fuel from the filter into a container and inspect the condition of the fuel.
  • Tip: Caution: Before removing fuel lines or fuel related parts, make sure that the fuel pressure is relieved from the vehicle fuel system. To relieve the pressure in fuel injected systems, remove the fuel pump fuse and run the engine

  • 4. Install the new fuel filter making sure that the flow is in the correct direction. The arrow on the fuel filter is the direction of flow from the tank to the engine.
  • 5. Secure the lines back onto the fuel filter. If applicable, reinstall the fuel pump fuse.
  • 6. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
  • 7. Test drive the vehicle to check for a rough running engine, hesitation, or lack of power.

  • Good luck (remember rated this help).
