Smartpool Chlorease Above Ground Saltwater not working. says lo but salt fine

I am having the same problem I wonder how to tell if my salt water system is working. My ph is good but I still have no chlorine or copper

Usualy if it is some years the ball bearing on the motor shaft are rusty and if you can desasemble and use a UD40 lubricant or similar it can be fixed, or replace the bearing. One more posible case is the starting capacitor if it replaced can run the motor again.

Check the electrolytic cell!!! You will get a low salt alarm if cell has calcium or sodium build up.. If it does, soak, flush and clean with vinegar.. Also, make sure you run the pump only, no chlorinator for 24 hrs to properly disolve the salt you just put in....

Sure no problem. Just make sure salt level and other chemistry (PH, ALK, Hardness) is within normal ranges. There are number of Salt system available these days, some designed specifically for above ground. Your best bet is to visit a local pool retailer, and ask them for their recommendations based on your pool size type, and type of equipment

Salt generating systems cuase pH to rise over time so you generator appears to have been working. What is the salt level in the water? Perhaps your pool is low hence no more chlorine generation.
