According to the manual page # 2 you are to press the power button and the eject button at the same time. The menu will come up indicating to force eject cd, hit ok button and it should eject. Otherwise, try hitting the reset button as suggested by shuttle 83

Try to power down the unit and the power it back up then press the eject button. If this does not work there might be a hole in the front of the unit which you could insert a paper clip which will actuate a mechanical release switch. The last thing you can try is to open up the unit and manually rotate the load and unload motor and this will eject the DVD. Restore the cover and then start up the unit to see if things are ok.

2008 Durango Limited

The eject button is the load button on our 2005, maybe the same for you. Just hold it in for a few seconds and it should spit out your cd. You should be able to lightly put the cd up to the insert space and it should take your cd. If your cd player holds multiple cds then perhaps there are some in there that have not been ejected. Hope this works for you.

DVD just says reading.....

Too high speed when writing discs. Use no more than 8X. Try 4X. Also, read again the user manual and check the kind of MP3 files this device can read.

Cd dvd wont play

Many of the older DVD and CD players will not play disks recorded on a computer. This has to do mainly with the laser optical response.

There were several manufactures that manufactured their laser unit with a built in filter that would not allow their player to read non pressed CD disks (disks burned with a home computer).

When buring DVD's or CD's, use the slowest possible speed for the burn to have the highest readablity and least data errors possible for the medium.

Loading error ???

Look for a microprocessor reset button, it will be very small. press it with a pen or pencil. If you cannot locate this then pull the radio out and disconnect the wiring harness for a couple of minuites then plug it back in.
