Press < or > to select Location and then press Check Mark
Press < or > until correct location appears
Press Check Mark
Press 1 to confirm
Printer will now power cycle itself

Select 'Print' from your software package and then 'Preferences'. Select the 'Color' tab, click on the 'Print in Greyscale' box and select the 'Black Cartridge' box..

Hp's usually have a micro switch underneath the power button. You probably just broke a support arm or type device. You might be able to super glue the piece back together and make it work. In my experience, this usually works about 40 percent of the time. Usually by pushing to ******* the switch to break the plastic you could have possibly damaged the small micro switch. My best suggestion is take it apart and try the super glue fix first. Good Luck!!
