Need to download pics from camera

We have a camera my boyfriend bought 2 years ago or so in california he has no software with it and we are trying to get the pics off of it how we do it

Hi, my problem is that, when i plug it in it used to just go on to it, but now i put it in and nothing happens, ive tried on my compture, which is windows, and the laptop which is vista, im really confused, and what does MACRO mean?

You should be able to plug in the USB cable to your PC and let Windows do the rest. Provided you have MS Windows

Kodak M340 lens extends then retracts immediately

I had the same problem after a day at the beach. What I did was get a can of compressed air (from the computer section) and blow air around the lens as I repeatedly turned it on. It took about five cycles, but I eventually cleared whatever was preventing the lens from fully opening.

Hi we bought a Kodak MX1063 10 mega pixels 7 6 months ago...We downloaded the Kodak program to the computer with the Disk...But every single time we try to download the pics off the camera, it chooses...

UNINSTALL the Kodak program. Reboot your pc. Connect the camera to the pc and let the pc recognize the camera and follow the wizard to download the pics.

My boyfriend formatted my camera and deleted all of my pictures, and then took a few new pictures. Is there ANY way to get these pictures back? THANKS!!

High end forensic software can often recover deleted files, but at great cost - the last time I had this done (to a hard disk drive), the cost was over $1200! Once deleted, pictures are essentially and for all practical purposes lost forever. Unless you synced your camera with a computer before the format and copied the pics to the computer. The lesson here: copy your pics to a secure location, or don't lend your camera to the boyfriend!
