Re: Problems with my samsung L200 digital camera
How old are the batteries? They could be toast, so check with new ones...can you power it with an AC adapter to make sure the camera works? If not check the manuel for any settings you could have actuated like a timer or sleep mode.
Check what "mode" its in...some cameras can be switched to different modes that will affect functions...including taking pictures.
Has it gone from cold to hot temp or vice versa in this time period? If so...it could have condensation inside and shut down for self protection...open whatever can be opened on the camera and let it sit indoors at room temp for a few hours.
If none of that works....take it back to where you bought it if possible and talk to the manager.

First take a back up of all image from thememory card to PC then format the memory card. After formatting the memory cardGo in camera setting or setup mode. From there You can find RESET ALL option.Reset the camera all setting as default. After resetting took out the memorycard and battery then sit the camera for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes insert the well charged battery & memory card in thecamera and turn on. Now let me know any changes or not. Thank you.
Sounds like the ZIF connector for the screen or another part came loose. I will say it sounds like a hardware issues and I would strongly recommend looking into coverage via manufactures parts and repair coverage. About the picture folder not showing up, If your using the camera cord to attach it to the computer Make sure you turn the camera on after connecting, if the drive for the camera does not appeare in " Computer " I would say get a card reader for the SDHC cards and try to load the pictures through there.
I would keep my finger on the turn-off button for at least 20 seconds to see if this switches it off. Failing that I would take out the batteries to switch off and then re-insert the batteries & see if it works this time. I am not an expert but have found the first point works on laptops. Good luck.
I called 1-800-samsung, and they sent me a new battery. After the problem insisted, they asked me to ship the camera back to them (still under warranty). The concluded that the cable was defective, and they shipped me a new one within 1 week. That was fast!!!
