Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
One day when I took out the battery (for what reason I don't really know) the circle behind the battery (in the battery compartment), that's usually white, was red. It looks like one of those magic marker things, where when you color it it's darker at one end and then fades back to the orginal color. It's a dark crimson at the bottom lefthand side and it gradually gets lighter until it's white again up top. Does this mean the my phone has some kind of damage?
Normally phone companies put a liquid sensor in the back panel of phones around or behind the battery itself. If the sensor has at any time come into contact with water (even persperation[sweat]), the sensor will activate and turn a different color by means of chemical reaction. This lets the phone company know, when they ask you if you dropped it in water, if you are telling the truth or not. But that doesnt mean that the sweat couldnt have turned the sensor on either. If there is no problem with the phone then I wouldnt worry about it, if there is than be careful how you present your case to customer service when asking for reapirs or a new unit, because they may say no depending on how the issue is presented.
