Dropped oil in T-mobile MDA

I dropped hair oil in my mda, does anyone know how to dry it out. I can hear out of the earpice a little bit but not much. I have to use the speakerphone. Other than that everything is working fine. Any suggestions?

Open up the mda with torque 6 screwdrivers and use a q tip to clean it up inside.

How to get/convert English OS for PH20B T-Mobile MDA

Hi there,
You need to reflash ROM. Operation is a bit risky, if you don't follow the procedure. Consider upgrade to WM5/WM6.

PDA finds wireless home signal but does not connect

Probably only recognizes WEP. I know this is a problem with Palms unless you get a WPA driver. PDAs have limited protection features just like T-Mobiles Wi Fi phones have. If you are using smaller electronic devices on your network you are better off setting the wireless security protection on your router to WEP, 64 bit, personal. That should work on your MDA.

T-Mobile MDA won't hold a charge

if you insurance on your phone I recommend using it, I had a MDA for a couple years and had about every problem in the book, but not that one. It sounds like you've done everything possible, the only other thing i could think of is a hard-reset. Anything beyond that would tinkering with the internal hardware.

I think you can get a MDA pretty cheap on ebay these days

Ebay has replacement screens for about 50 bucks. You got to get a T5 screwdriver (i think thats torx), pop the case and unplug about 3 connectors, and reconnect the new screen. Heres the ebay link:
