Pv-l453d no picture from lens to lcd blank screen ?

Your device has the option buttons on which to select recording by observing the process from the user observation scopes. One option only could be observed at the recording session. On the other hand, disabling the option of observing a recording session on the scope lense automatically displays the recording session on the visible lense LCD screen area.

Manipulating the Camcorder is from the option buttons located along the sides of the camera. A switch on the menu area should make that experiece achievable.

I have a Panasonic pv-gs35 Camcorder when I open the lcd monitor the screen turns all white. The viewfinder works ok. Should I have to replace The lcd monitor?

first check the LCD connection, try to reconnect the flexible cables on the LCD board,
second, replace the flexible cable goes throungh hinge.
if those won't work, you may need to replace the LCD or main board.

LCD stopped working when opened.

I had the same issue. screen it was white when it was opened.
the wire ribbon which connects the LCD with the rest of the camera it's broken. I ordered a new part(it comes with the whole mechanism), replaced it and it's working like new. it was around $72 and if I remember it was from partstore.com. unfortunately I don't remember the part# or name but it could be a shaft or lcd shaft.

LCD kaput - anyone know of a panasonic recall?

The panasonic camcorder does not use the Sony CCD element. If the small viewfinder is showing the camera video, there's nothing wrong with the CCD imager. We have had numerous problems with the switch that controls the activation of the large LCD and the backlight inverter that powers it. When you open the LCD the small viewfinder should power down to conserve battery power. The large LCD should then illuminate, if not, shine a flashlight at the surface of the LCD and notice if the video is present, if so, the backlight or LCD harness is defective.
