Re: No volume

I have the same problem, it works occasionly when I move the unit around, I think it has something to do with the chasi ground, Right now I have it set decently loud to the point were I can hear the music over other noises, when I hit he power button it lowers enough to talk of a cell phone or have a conversation in the car, its not a fix, but it works as a temporary solution

I am trying to adjust the bass and treble in the bass focus and t-adjust but it keeps reseting.I don't have the manual and I would like to know how to lock the settings in so I don't have to keep on...

If they reset when you turn off the radio (or the car) it is possible that you have connected the power wiring wrong. There are two 12v (+) wires. One that connects all the time to the power block (fuse block) and that one supplies continuous power to the radio unit and another that connects to the ON-OFF (ussually controlled by the Start Up Key) power side of the fuse block. If these are not connected correctly the radio re-sets everytime the key is turned of. One way to verify this is to check if yo loose your selected raio stations too.
Hope it helps.

I Have A Sony Xplod GTX GT710 Cd player in my truck. And I have been trying to figure out how to balance the bass to my subs and leave the treble to the rest of the speakers. How can I Do this?

the trick is not to use you deck to control the bass. use the amplifier and set all you radio setting to 0 this will allow you to fine tune a little audio when you need to, make all your bass tuning setting at the amp. not the deck,

Hello 1rocknroller,

Press the mode button repeatedly to select BASS, TREBLE, SUBW, BALANCE, FADER, DEFEAT, AND VOLUME. When subwoofer mode is set to off, it's level cannot be adjusted. If DEFEAT is set to ON, the player returns to factory defaults. Turn the volume control to adjust the setting. If no adjustment is made within 5 seconds after selecting, the player returns to normal mode.

Hope this helps.

Bass sounds only

That is tricky one. Did you try adjusting the EQ on both the stereo and the amp? Is the Mute turned on because it will act like that? Is both rca jacks plugged in on stereo and amp?
