Rinse after every use. Sanatize with Bleach once a month. Use a soft cloth or sponge and liquid soap to remove residue. Scratches can be buffed and polished with a liquid based auto polish to maintain High Gloss finish. Do not use abrasive cleaners which will dull the finish. If you have used the sink in a non-normal usage and stained it, it can not be repaired under most circumstances. If you have not voided the warranty, you may be eligible for a replacement from the company.

A Master Collection designer Thermocast cast acrylic double bowl kitchen sink with a rich high gloss finish that is easy to clean with non-abrasive cleaners.

  1. 1

Put on rubber gloves. Spray the sink with a nonabrasive commercial kitchen cleaner, covering all surfaces of the sink with the spray.

  2. 2

Dampen a sponge in warm water. Wipe the sponge over the sink, scrubbing at any visible dirt.

  3. 3

Rinse the sink with warm water and then dry it with a clean towel.

  4. 4

Fill the sink with warm water and add 1 tsp. of chlorine bleach per gallon of water, once a month. This will sanitize the sink, and is recommended by Thermocast. Let the bleach-water mixture remain in the sink for 15 minutes, then drain the sink. Rinse.

  5. 5

Apply liquid automotive polish to a clean, soft cloth. Wipe the cloth over the sink to remove any scratches that may have occurred. Buff the sink using a circular motion. Rinse.

Abrasive cleaners may scratch Thermocast sink surfaces--using abrasive cleaners may also void the warranty.

My sink is black and it has already had a lot of scatches and scrapes from normal use. Its only 2 monthes old.Plus water deposit stains. What can I do? I was wondering where I could find a sink dish...

Black is a hard one. They really seem to get scratched up easy. But as for the water stains you could try CLR it does a pretty good job. Also a real good trick if you have hard water for your dishwasher is to pus a packet of Kool-Aid in the soap dispenser and run it through a cycle it will clean up the inside like you wouldn't believe.

Recomended cleaning for kitchen porcelain sink

Scouring powders or cleansers contain abrasives commonly used to clean and remove stubborn stains that are slow to respond to chemical action alone.

However, use of an abrasive cleaner may scratch and damage smooth finishes such as porcelain, fiberglass or enamel making it even more difficult to clean the surface in the future.

New kitchen and bathroom fixtures do not require a scouring cleanser to clean them of soap films and body oils. Dissolving soil by soaking with the correct non-abrasive cleaner (especially a foaming type that sticks to the surface) then wiping and rinsing usually does the job.
When cleaning older, abused fixtures, choose the mildest abrasive cleaner available such as a Soft Scrub -type product or baking soda, and apply just enough that, with light pressure, the embedded soils are loosened and may be rinsed away.

Got a stain in a thermocast sink...can not be removed

These are beautiful sinks. The acrylic is extremely durable but unfortunately not indestructable. If the stain has gotten into the acrylic you will not be able to remove it. If it looks like it could be on the surface try a paste of baking soda and rub gently in a circular motion. Do not use an abrasive product as it will permanently damage the sink. Thermocast may be able to supply you with an acrylic repair kit for the color of your sink. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer at 1-678-445-2022 or emailing them at Good luck with the repair.

I have been told to use denatured alcohol to clean the quartz sink. How is it diluted...what is the ratio to water? Thank you.

Denatured alcohol is only necessary for cleaning stains which are difficult to remove from your quartz sink, such as ink, oil-based stains or paints, etc. These stains should be dealt with immediately by scrubbing with a cloth dampened with denatured alcohol (undiluted).

Expecially difficult stains can also be dealt with by filling the sink with a highly diluted organic cleaner such as bleach and let stand overnight, however this method only recommended for well ventilated areas for obvious reasons.

Normal day-to-day cleaning can be managed with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth.

I have a black pegasas kitchen sink and it has a brown film on the sides of the sink. how do i clean this and get it off.

The best thing to use and the safest for the finsh is, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Just wet it and squeeze out the excess water and LIGHTLY rub the stained area until it is gone.

Be sure to rub lightly, as you don't want to remove anything but the stains. If you keep rubbing after the stain is gone, it is possible to start affecting the finish on the sink. You'd really have to rub pretty hard to do that, but some folks go overboard when trying to get stains off things

I've been using the Magic Eraser around our house for years and it's great at keeping the textured fridge handle clean and alot easier than anything else we've tried!

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Paint brush solvents stained sinks

Using solvents in a Thermocast sink is a huge no no. The company will have to buy you a new one. There isn't anything you can do.

Is an acrylic sink durable and stainproof?

Acrylic sinks can stain too. I would go with a cast iron sink if you don't want to worry about stains. Acrylic sinks tend to scratch if your not careful.
