Question about RCA P52926 52" Rear Projection Television
I attempted to connect a PlayStation 2 to my RCA 52 TV - Now my picture into my RCA from both the satelite and "over the air" TV is fuzzy - Of course, DVD movies are clear - What happened to cause the picture to be distorted when I plugged in the RCA (Y,W,R) into "Input 2" on the TV to totally ruin my picture quality. Thanks for any help. I hope that the TV is not totally ruined. Thanks, again ! Legend73
Hi, If your PS2 has an RF module, it is possible that the PlayStation 2's RF unit is interfering with your reception. Even if you are using the Audio/Video OUTput of the PS2, the RF module is also working and throwing out an output to either Chs 3 or 4. By switching off the PS2, the RF module would likewise be off. If by switching off the PS2 does not solve the problem, it is also possible that the Video input board of your TV has been slightly damaged. I doubt if it is a major repair and offhand would probably involved minor components or simply re-soldering. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information.
