Question about Lands Phones

One (1) of our phones constantly cuts out. People we speak to say they hear us intermittently. Phones have been replaced but same issue. Could it need a new Wall Jack Module? Equipment (phone) is not the issue as it works on all other jacks.

This trouble may lay in the wiring to the jack or the jack itself. Maybe have your local phone check it out.

Callers to my phone cannot hear me speaking.I can hear them


Hello,
If callers cant hear you when you speak to them on your phone,it means that your phones mouth piece is bad and you need to replace it and to do that you need to take it to phone repair shop.

You can also try using an external ear piece attached to the phone to make and receive calls before you fix the phone.

My phone is starting to beep constantly while I'm speaking, and then goes dead after about 15 minutes of constant beeping. Is this a battery issue, or is this a intenral phone issue?


Sound like a battery issue, could have happened by condensation, battery temp, or age. you can get the battery tested at a battery store or radio shack.

The mic on your phone is not working... check if it is muted on your phone...

If it is not muted, then it can be a hardware issue, your mic might have gone bad... you can take it to any service center and get the work done there....Just ask them to replace the mic, the cost of the mic is very cheap it costs around less than half a dollar in INDIA....

I have C168 Motorola model, I am facing problem when ever I speak opponent able to hear my voice but I am not able to hear their voice, so what can be issue with my setting?


Hello,

This has nothing to do with your settings, since your opponents can hear you but you cannot hear their voice, the problem with your phone is the earpiece.

The earpiece of your phone is bad and will need to be replaced in other for you to hear the opponents.

Replace the earpiece and you will hear the opponents.

No sound when calls come in


This problem now seems to be well known issue with this phone, and I too have faced it as an owner of this phone. The peculiar issue being that its not present in all phones and the there is way to identify if the phone will have this problem.

The problem is a software issue, where the phone's speaker gets muted. If you are taking the call, simply changing the volume solves the issue, however the same does not work for incoming calls and you are forced to cut and call back.

Many suggestions have been made on working around the problem but non seems to work. The problem is most common if you select the SILENT profile. Upgrading to the latest firmware 5.11 does not sort the problem, and actually it introduced the problem (as it was in my case).

The best advise i can give is to replace the phone, as it seems Nokia has not managed to fix the issue even after several firmware fixes.
