Question about Bosch Axxis WFL 2060 Front Load Washer

Open Question

Bosch Axxis washer won't rotate. It will add water then sit and click when it is supposed to spin. I moved it to the spin cycle and it drains but won't spin.I had this problem before. I drained the washer, cleaned out the pump area (removed a bra underwire), took out the brushes on the motor, inspected them, put them back and it worked. I don't know what I did. this lasted for about 2 or 3 weeks or about 15-20 loads. Now it doesn't work again. My brother has the same washer and has had the same problem. We did the same thing. He had some change in the pump area. We checked the brushes. It is still working. There is nothing in the pump area on machine this time. I can fix anything but I need a solution. HELP!

I have the same problem, the drum will not turn. all other cycles work except the sipin cycle. Drum will not turn. the unit is 7 years old. How do you take out the brushes to inspect, and what are we looking for? I have cleaned the pump area. I am in France. Thanks

When inspecting brushes ... two things... are they worn and is the contact area of the brush shiny, if it is shiny clean and not cracked then the brushes are making contact and thats not your problem. A possible other solution might be is the machine overfilling. Is it taking in too much water. If this is the case the you might have a small blockage in the pressure switch chamber which can come and go...reulting in the machine working sometimes and not others.

SOURCE: How can we remove underwire caught outside the drum?

I havent opened your particular model, but mine (74520) cen be easily opened from the back (6 screws to remove the plate). You can then see a big rubber hose attached to the bottom of the drum housing. By removing this (open the big clamp on the hose) you should be able to detach it and reach into the housing and get the object out.

SOURCE: Bra underwire stuck

Switch off machine and unplug it from the wall socket. Remove back plate and identify the heating element. It should be located at the bottom of the outer drum. Remove element and you will have limited access to the space between the drums. Rotate the drum slowly by hand untill the bra wire gets to the bottom of the drum. Remove obstruction with hook or long tweeser.

SOURCE: Bra underwire stuck

disconnect from electricity. take back panel off.you will see heater at bottom of tub held in by 1 10mm nut.disconnect wires to it. loosen this nut and pull heater out - you may have to help it with a screwdriver. you can then see into the gap between tub and drum and fish for the bra wire.
tell her not to wear bras with wires!!

SOURCE: Bosch WFMC 3200 Front Load will not pump water out

the pump gears could be stripped or clogged with soap residue including the line from the pump to include the drain hose itself. I took the back of my machine off after cleaning the pump twice to find the reservoir full of a brown soap gunk/sludge. there is also a small rubber tube that runs from this reservoir back into the drum which was plugged shut with the same gunk. this thick soap residue can damage the pump motor or slow the drainage system to get the E 04 warning. I cleaned the gray drain hose out with the garden hose and was amazed at the sludge that game out. When the machine would run on the drain cycle we would also get a sewage smell that I thought was coming form the drain trap but turned out to be caused by the sludge in the pump. After cleaning the system and now using no more that a tablespoon of soap it works great & the cloths are clean.

Blocked pump, open flap bottom right, drain off excess water manually and remove pump filter. Make sure you get right down and have a look in at the impellor and give it a turn to make sure its free to rotate. You'll probably find a coin, button etc that is catching the pump impellor. When you start a cycle the pump engages for a few seconds and then the w/m takes in water, so if something is stopping the impellor rotating the w/m will not start.
Best of luck

We have a WFL 2090 UC Bosch Axxis Front end load washer. When we use the Power Wash option, the clothes are soaking wet when the cycle is completed. Are we supposed to use the Power Temp or Power Boost...

Are you sure that your washer spins? that your pump drains? You should not have this problem. Do you load your laundry properly (too much laundry- should not be more than 3/4 of the diameter of the drum)?

Water wont drain from my front loader bosch axxis washer and no spin cycle

You can check the drain or the filter. You will have to pull it out of the space it is now to access it. Items will get stuck in the drain clogging it.

My Bosch 2060 Front end loader will not drain/spin

Get the pennies or dimes out of the accordian style black hose at the bottom of the washer. You will need to lay the washer against something so you can get in from underneath. Take a plyers and squeeze the medal clamp so the hose can slip off. I found 3 dimes that acted like washers. The machine will drain.
