Go to the downloads page for your motherboard on the asus website and then download the bios utility to flash it with and the bios update and you can either ( as far as I remember ) do it within windows or make a bootable cd or floppy disk and do it from command prompt.

The read me file should walk you through what to do but I have used the windows utility before and that seems to do it

Bios crashed while flashing

Your board has the ASUS crash free bios recovery feature:
01.gif CrashFree BIOS 2
The CrashFree BIOS 2 feature now includes the BIOS auto-recovery function in a support CD. Users can reboot their system through the support CD when a bootable disk is not available and go through the simple BIOS auto-recovery process. ASUS motherboards now enable users to enjoy this protection feature without the need to pay for an optional ROM.

Your manual ought to give you the step by step instructions.

P5n73-am don't boot... one endless beeep, no video, what does it means?

Without knowing what bios its using best guess would be a faulty processor or bad memory. Is this a new build or a machine that has already been running?

I have a PNY MBM630I7150 mobo. I used to work with ASUS mobos (since 1987) and flashing the BIOS was easy. This current MOBO appears not have the option to flash (none can I find). How do I flash the...

There is no option to flash this motherboard's bios. PNY has not offered any BIOS updates and offers no way to alter the included BIOS. Sorry about that.
The manual is located here if you would like to reference it: http://www3.pny.com/support/media/Files/589b1671-0c6a-4367-b7e6-3ea8a83c560a/mcp7150_v1.PDF

Asus mobo flashes on startup, no video

You should unplug the power cord from the power supply, pop out the cmos battery, switch the bios reset jumper to the 2 and 3 pins, wait about a minute, put the jumper back to 1 and 2 pins, put cmos battery back in, plug in power cord to psu and turn on pc. If you have any issues with this process please refer to your owner manual for the motherboard or look one up on their website. Please let me know if this fixes your issue.

Nvidia geforce 9500 gt gpu work on asus p5n73-am

Hi!

Nahh...you can use that gpu with that mobo, but i wouldent recomend it. The GPU - Requires NVIDIA HybridPower™- enabled motherboard, and that mobo dosent have that. It might work but you cant use the full power of that gpu on that mobo. And beside that, that gpu is bigger then the mobo itself
I sugest you to buy another mobo, the gpu you looking at is a good one but your mobo isent that good.

Here is the spec for the GPU:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9500gt_us.html

And here are the spec for that mobo:
http://shopping.msn.com/specs/asus-p5n73-am-motherboard-micro-atx-geforce-7050/itemid1060345734/?itemtext=itemname:asus-p5n73-am-motherboard-micro-atx-geforce-7050&fulldesc=1

Good luck

Will Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300, 2.50 GHz processor work on asus p5n73-am motherboard..is it compatible, will the motherboard crash or will the processor overheat. I am looking to change my current processor...

Motherboard info
Yes it'll work. Worst case scenario is that you will need to do a bios update. Overheat should not be a problem if you are using the intel reference cooler wich is provided with the cpu.

Flashed the bios with wrong version PC is unusable

Hi, I dont like your chances a lot. Next to the cmos battery you will find a set of jumper pins [3 pins] move the jumper from where it is set onto the next pin and leave it there for at least 10 seconds then replace it back in its orriginal position. This will reset all the orriginal bios settings. If the update flash you have done doe's not allow this to reset, get onto the ASUS web site and ask for tech help, the response may be slow but this is your only option other than another mobo.
