Question about 2wire (1000-100052-000) 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter
They forgot the cd for install and went to the 2 wire website and downloaded the drivers. It will not connect. Also says doesnt recognize the serial # or the Key. I got it right off the back of the main wireless modem so i dont get it? Any solutions?
Your problem may be a driver problem so try this first
1. you need to uninstall the device from device manager first, go into device manager, find the network adapter and right click on it to uninstall,
2. then deattached the component,
3. install the driver from the manufacturer website (driver page), and the follow the instructions to
4. attach the device again.
hope that hellps

Have you selected the correct form of security eg wpa or wep, it should be wpa with 2 wire i think, and also the type of network, eg shared or open and ensure you have the correct upper or lower case entries.
