Question about Black & Decker Garden
Ive just bought a new lawn strimmer and the assembly instructions are like gobbledegook, well just diagrams which i can't make head or tail of. I would be grateful if you could advise me in simple terms what i am supposed to do ! I have just 3 parts - the main handle part, the spool and the guard.Thankyou !

Could not find a picture of this installed, I have replaced this spring and it is hard to do. You have to put the straight prong of the spring unto the valve arm, you will see a spot for it to be at, then wind the other end of the spring around until it goes into a slot, then get it all together on the agi housing before it comes apart. Hope this makes sense.

Some of the trimmers recommend a certain size line, if you have one of these that let line out as needed, the speed at which the trimmer cuts will let out line as needed. If you have too small of line the drag for the friction let-out you will spoll all the line out. Make sure the line is the right size, They come in alot of sizes, anywhere from .060" to .125" line thickness so make sure you have the right size line!
