Question about Acer Aspire 9300 Notebook
I tried to start my laptop several times, but it would get stuck in the startup screen, showing the little blue bar going left and right get stuck quite early on.
Loading it in any other mode (safe mode, safe mode with networking etc) had the same result. The screen would freeze and the laptop simply wouldn't load, not even if given plenty of time to do so.
Now, my dad has a HP computer, and that sometimes wouldn't start. So what I discovered is, that by taking out the battery and putting it back in, or leaving it out, it would load again....
So after funnying about for a while trying to load the laptop normally, I did the same with my acer. I took the battery out and voila....the laptop started up normally, without any further issues!
Can anyone explain to me, what is causing this, what's wrong?
I'm afraid to put my battery back in now, and eventhough I don't really need the battery at the moment, a laptop that can't be moved seems rather useless for work purposes.
I'm also afraid to turn my laptop off at the moment, as I have some serious backing up to do, if this was a lucky load....
Thanks in advance,
