Problem for kawasaki SVP500 Multi-disc DVD Player

DVD player will not show in color.

I have a dvd player (Curtis) hooked up to my TV w/ SVideo and it works just fine except now it only shows black and white pictures. It used to do great color and just stopped. What could the problem be?

could be loose or damaged SVideo cable or cable getting interferance from other equipment. try moving cable around and see if color comes back.
