This may be as simple as still having air in the system.  Connect the machine to the water supply (but not the electric) then squeeze the trigger and allow water to flow for at least 60 seconds.  During that process, hold the nozzle outlet under the surface of water in a bucket so you can see when air stops coming out.  Keep going until you're sure there's no more air in the system.  Then switch it on.  If it still does not come up to pressure you'd probably be wise to abandon it.

Could be just a faulty capacitor that helps the motor to start. You will find this next to the motor if you remove the top cover.

Alto Kew pressure washer stopped working!

Hi Steve, In 3 years of repairing pressure washers I've only ever seen one of these, and am having a hard time remembering much about it, except that it was really awkward to work on! Strictly speaking, many small pressure washer repairs are uneconomical, because the labour time involved costs almost as much as the machine is worth. However, a "motor won't go" problem does narrow things down a lot. To state the obvious, we're looking at an electrical problem. The challenge is to find the cause! Did the motor stop while you were using it, or did it fail to start when you got it out of storage? If you are in the UK you should first check the plug-top fuse and the full length of the flex for any damage. If you have any kind of low-voltage electrical testing device, you can test for continuity between the live and neutral pins of the plug (with the machine switched on you should have continuity). If you have no continuity (and the fuse is OK) there may be a problem with the switch on the machine. Unfortunately, unless you are a really keen DIY person, there's not much you can do by way of self-help. A repair centre may be able to help you, but beware of costs spiraling beyond the cost of a replacement machine. I hope this will be helpful - if you can give more details I'll help further if I can. Good luck!

We left the frig door ajar for 6 hrs, now the frig isn't working but the freezer is... where is the reset button? Thanks!!

Hi, No reset button. Check and make sure the evaporator fan motor inside the freezer is running. While checking that, look and see if there is any frost build up on the rear panelin the freezer. Please let me know if any of these are the case so I can asist you further.
Thanks
Vic
