Ibm motherboard pro300a_afp bios update

I have a ibm pro300a_afp mother board i insatlled p3 1 ghz processor .while statring it says machine error code no 167 and asked for bios update .however if i continue my o/s works. how do i update bios

Hi,

Go to the Bios's Manufacturer's website, they will have it, get the update, and instructions to update.
there is a Specific procedure to follow.

Bios update

Do not know much about mac but can you change settings on M/board by using jumpers to upgrade bus speed etc or in BIOS

Compatilblity with 845G mother board


try update the system bios because there were motherboards that had compatibility problems, this board is not a new one so it should work with your processor

Normally 137gb but updating the bios will allow a larger size to be recognised.
