Free HP LaserJet 1300 Printer Driver

All HP drivers can be found on www.hp.com and with a few (VERY few) exeptions they're all for free. You didn't state what operating system You have, so I'll give you a link for the download "start page" for Your printer: LJ 1300 download page

Skip the "CD-ROM order page" and go for the "Driver" section. You can chose between three printer driver types, but for "everyday" printing I'd go for the PCL6 driver.

choose your operating system, on the next page scroll down to the drivers section. download your driver to your desktop, install and restart the computer.
ake sure to remove any previous drivers related to the printer.

go to the hp website.

select support and drivers
click on download drivers
put the model # on the description and follow the rest of the prompts.
