Question about Exercise & Fitness

The cables are loose on my multi-gym. V-fit say to screw the cable into the weights even further to take up the slack, but it is in as far as it will go. Any ideas? Thanks

I've just bought a v-fit herculean multi gym and assembled it with a great deal of difficulty. However, the cables are very loose and there is no way I can screw it any further into the weight plate which is v-fits solution to tighten up slack. Any ideas? Thanks

In the end, we took up the slack at the S-clip on the top horizontal bar - it needed two of us to do that, but it worked fine after that.

Hi, I'm afraid I'm asking for help rather than offering a solution. Your problem, in April, is exactly the one I am experiencing now. How did you resolve it? My son and I would greatly appreciate any advice!

We have a home multi gym but unfotunately we bought this 3-4 years ago and cannot remember where on the Internet we purchased it, the manual only has Home Gym-012 as the model and have searched sites but...

Ebay has many sellers that have cables for multigyms to order online, so long as they fit the gym you have, which they should as they can't be too different, but your best bet is to check Ebay, they might even have the specific cables you need.

I just got a bowflex extreme 2 from someone used. It is from 2006. There doesn't seem to be enough resistance? How can I make more tension in the rods? Seems too loose?

The nice thing about the Xtreme 2 is the fact that you do not need to change cables for different exercises, but it does mean numerous cable position adjustments depending on the exercise you are doing.
To alleviate the slack problem in the cables you can either have the cables that run under the seat remain attached to the leg extension attachment or move the sliders attached to those cables as far forward as possible thereby pulling the cables as far out as they can go. This will both increase the resistance provided by the rods and keep the floating pulleys from hitting the lat pulley housing.

i had the same problem,i found if you just connect it to the support weight.adjust the cable as far as you can, then all i do is press down abit on the support weight.and then put the pin into the desired weight
hope that helps matt
