Question about Intel D865GLC Motherboard
I have recxently re-installed win xp pro with sp2 on my intel pentium 4 the motherboard is an intel d865glc.
anywat every time i switch it on it goes straight to the intel screen and stays there i cannot access any o/s options or bios menu i have only got to another screen by holding del/insert then switching the computer on but then that gets me another intel menu saying to press f2 to enter setup (tried it just stays at saying entering startup) and the other is network boot (same as setup it stays at screen) i have tried taking out the battery no success i left it out overnight are there any methods of how to reset the whole pc?
Open the computer, and you will see near the bottom right corner a blue jumper on 2 of 3 pins. The pins are J9J4 and the jumper should be on pins 1 and 2.
Turn off the computer and the power supply, remove the little round battery from the motherboard, move the blue jumper to pins 2 and 3 and wait 40 seconds. Reinstall the battery, and then move the blue jumper back to pins 1 and 2.
Turn on the power supply, restart the computer and the BIOS settup utility should appear
