Very poor image, very white

It seems fine when taking a still image, however the image saved is very white with only a shadow of the underlying image. The focus dosnt seem to work either, when focussing in larger white horizontal lines appear

I am experiencing the exact same problem. Are you sure this is CCD failure? When I do the CCD failure test per Sony's website, the video playback is just fine.

How do i take out shadows in a photo

In Photoshop, choose the Select menu and click on Color Range... Then click on the offending shadow. You will see that area highlighted in the small window. By holding down the shift key and continuing to click on offending shadows, you can add to your selection. Also adjust the Fuzziness setting to suit your preference. Click on OK, and you will see your shadows selected in your image. Now go to the Image menu and select Adjustments/Levels... or Adjustments/Curves... Adjust the sliders, or the shape of the curve to suit your preference. Save your file with a new name in case you need to readjust.

I have a proxima dp6860 color shadow

the lcd panel may be out of alignment. there really isn't a way adjust it easily. it'll need to go in for repair to an infocus service center. try av solutions in ny. they're really good.
i think it's www.avsolutionsny.com

Color Alignment

the most common problem when the tv felt is the shadows all over the screen (maybe the tv didnt show it imm but looks like now is there the problem)
second:there is a circuit in the tv that works when the tv turns on every day. prevents the tv showing shadows on the screen.
the answer is this: if that system that prevents shadowing is working then the CRT is broken and say bye to the TV. But if the expert tech can make sure the D' gauss system is not working and can repair it then you get tv back.

Printer output has shadows, blurring, streaks, lines, poor color

Seem like blocked hole(s) on the color print head...
Most likely if there is a deep clean option then do it (may need a few times to unblock a hole or never).
Also get the printer physically cleaned up if you can see dusts inside (vrtical lines on color bars).

Red Shadow

UNDER THE FRONT DOOR PRESS THE BOTTOM BUTTON "FLASH FOCUS" AND SEE IF IT FIXES IT. IF NOT AND YOU SEEN RED DOUBLE OF THE IMAGE, THEN THE SET PROBABLY NEEDS THE CONVERGENCE CIRCUIT REPAIRED.

TV projects a pink/green shadow

Logically proceed one source at a time = disconnect all,
then hook-up one at a time or hook-up seperately.FYI, the
RF coax , composite and s-video inputs all share the same
circuitry, whereas component is a whole seperate video
processing circuit, with another difference between 480P and
1080 I . Sounds like you have a 1080 I problem, which might
be a little sister board..............................T.

Let me know..............Thanks.
