SOURCE: WIRELESS ADAPTER
To install your wireless adapter, plug in the wireless card, and put your cd driver into the laptop. Once the adapter is plugged in, your laptop should recognize a new hardware has been installed, and will ask you for a driver (whether to automatically search for it or you can install it yourself. Pick the option of you installing yourself, and put the cd driver in. Then just go through the wizard to install your wireless card. You should be good to go from there! Any other questions, let me know!

SOURCE: gotta problem
Hold down the Fn button on the lower left corner of the keyboard and the F2 key @ the same time.
The light on the front of the lid should light up. If it doesn't follow this link and there is an update there that should get you up and going.

I'm afraid glenn is wrong. You're going to want to use FN-F2. Trust me. I'm looking at my N610C right now. And also, you should install the correct driver fro HP. Do not use the most current, as it may cause your computer to crash. Use version 1.00C

Most likely there's some grit or dust inside the keyboard key contacts.
Begin by placing the powered down PC on a side, blowing compressed air from above (so that it enters between the keys laterally), top to bottom, with a compressed air bottle. Check all keys.
There are also specialized notebook keyboard cleaning kits.
If it didn't work, you may try prying the keys open - "peel" the keys from below, pulling gently, careful not to break the tiny plastic studs - and exposing the contacts pit in the middle. Blow air inside to clear the contacts.
If not even that helps, you may need a replacement keyboard - you'll find cheap ones on eBay, http://www.pchub.com and elsewhere.
