To insert it in PC your PC needs to have a slot for the memory card.. does your computer have any slot that is for Memory card? Please check the computer specifications or give me the computer model number so that i can check for you.

    Hi,

I searched on internet and the model number of your laptop seems to be Satellite L300/R00. Here is the image of Toshiba Laptop.

Please see the slot that is on top of the CD drive .. SD is written to the right side of this slot... This is the slot where you insert the memory card.

    http://www.notebookreview.com/assets/157...

Where ever the slot is .. there would be SD written on it. Please check all the slots on the laptop.

Then your computer might not have the memory card reader at all. Yes, if the printer has the slot then the card would work on printer, you would be able to view and print images on printer directly.
The write protect might not be available on all the cards however to give you an idea on how the write protect looks on SD card .. here is an image file.

    http://images.doba.com/products/1/p-sd2g...

The yellow switch to the left hand side on the card is the one that can toggle between write protect on and off.

There is no Write protect switch on your card..
Try to format the card and see if the issue persists... The steps are as follows:
Please plug in the memory stick then open the Control Panel

-Double click to open "Administrative Tools"

    -Double click on "Computer Management"

    -Click on "Disk Management"

-Focus your eyes on the bottom right window panel

-Right click and then select "Format" on the USB memory stick. This should be visible along with the other drives.

Follow other prompts to complete formatting.
See if this resolves the issue.

    Regards,
    Srinivas

If its something that is by mistake set on your computer then try the following:
    1. Click Start->Run.
    2. Type regedit and click OK.
    3. Save your registry settings by clicking file > Export > save. This is the bacup taken in case something messes up.
    4. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE by clicking on the + sign next to it.
    5. Open SYSTEM by clicking the plus sign next to it.
    6. Open CurrentControlSet.
    7. Open Control.
    8. Click on StorageDevicePolicies ans see on right hand side window.
    9. Check the value of WriteProtect.
    10. If the value data is 1 change it 0 and click ok.
    11. Repeat steps 7 to 10 for ControlSet001 and ControlSet002 .
    12. Close Registry editor and its done. You might have to reboot.

    Try once again then..

I have nfs carbon in my pc. ihave a psp to. ihave to convert this carbon into that. what is the solution?

Do you want to play the carbon on your pc on or PSP ?

You can run older DOS-based PC Games such as Doom, Quake or Duke Nukem 3D on your PlayStation Portable (PSP) if you have the right software. Finding, downloading and installing the software is not too difficult. Once you have the proper configuration on your PSP, all you have to do is save the games on your PSP's memory stick and boot up the correct programs.

  • 1

Download the free program DosBox for PSP (see Resources). Save it to your PSP's memory stick under the "GAMES" directory. To do this, insert the memory stick in your PC's memory stick slot, or connect your PSP to your PC via the mini-USB cable provided by the manufacturer. Using Windows Explorer, open the memory stick or PSP and then navigate to the "GAMES" directory.

  • 2

Install the PC games you want to play on your PSP's memory stick. When the PC game install wizard asks where you want to install the game, direct it to the "GAMES" directory on your memory stick. It should then create a new folder within "GAMES," where all of the PC game's files will be located.

  • 3

Insert your memory stick into the PSP or disconnect the PSP from your PC. Start the PSP, and go to "MEMORY STICK" on the main menu. Scroll down until you find DosBox listed and start the program.

  • 4

Type "cd/games" using the PSP's virtual keyboard option at the DOS prompt. (Hit the circle button to bring up the virtual keyboard.) Then type "cd/" followed by the name of the game directory for the game you want to play. Finally, type the name of the executable file (".exe") listed in that directory. Your PC game should start.

  • 5

Troubleshoot your individual PC game by experimenting with the various game controls. Since the PSP obviously has fewer inputs than a PC's mouse and keyboard, you may have to use trial and error to discover how to play your game successfully on the PSP.

Have you tried to format in the PSP. Go to System in the main menu, then system settings, then format memory stick. I purchased a new chip for mine and it did not show as storage till i did this. Insert or remove chip only when unit is powered off. If it still does not work take it to the store and have it checked. Hope it helped.

My psp memory card dont let me put stuff in

you may have to format the card. Also make sure your card is not placed in the lock position.
How to Fix a PSP Memory Stick
    1. Step 1 Upgrade your PSP's Firmware (its operating system) before doing anything else. Firmware 5.0 solves many software problems that are encountered with older memory sticks. You can upgrade it by simply connecting your PSP to any wireless connection through its WiFi. Once a connection is established, the PSP will update itself automatically.
    2. Step 2 Check to see that your memory stick's plastic tongs, the small sticks that separate each connection, are straight. If one is bent, your PSP will not recognize the stick.
    3. Step 3 Remove your memory stick if it still does not work. Insert it into a PC with a memory stick slot. You will most likely be able to see all of your saved files. If so, continue to the next step. If you still cannot see your files, then your memory stick is defective, and it is not the PSP's fault.
    4. Step 4 Copy your files from the memory stick to the hard drive.
    5. Step 5 Format your memory stick using the "Format Disk" option in Windows. Open Windows Explorer, and find your memory stick listed in the "Drives" section. Right-click on the memory stick, and click "Format." Follow the on-screen instructions in the windows that pop up.
    6. Step 6 Insert your memory stick into your PSP. It should recognize the disk now. However, you now need to format the memory disk again with the PSP.
    7. Step 7 Go the PSP main menu, and select "Settings." Then select "Format Memory Disk."
    8. Step 8 Put your memory stick back in your PC, and return the files you removed earlier. When you reinsert the stick into your PSP, it should now see all the files.

your memory stick should have came with its own card reader, which is a small device that the card fits into, on the end of that device is a plug to plug into any of you USB ports on your laptop.. If it did not come with a reader device you will have to purchase one.
    Hope this helps
