Not able to read cd content

cds recorded using sony handycam is not able to read in windows pc(It showing message "windows cannot read the contents".)But those CDs are playing properly in Handycam.I have tried 4 pcs but result is same.Is there any mode to be selected while recording a video using handycam to play that cd in both,handycam as well as windows xp based PC.Pls assist.
