Question about Uniden TRU 4465-2 Cordless Phone (TRU4465-2)
I recently bundled my phone service with VOIP from RCN, and while in transition, someone left me a voicemail on my ATT voicemail. The digital data is trapped in my phone and now the message light is constantly blinking. ATT said my box was cleared out a month ago. I've received other messages and it did not clear. I also removed the battery for a while. Is there any way to turn off the message light and remove the trapped data? Thanks.
i suspect the phone is not compatible with voip services for the functionality you are looking for. Check with comcast to see if there's some specific config needed for your phone.

Find a copy of the manual. If you hold down the page button on the main unit for about 5 sec until it stops beeping 9usually beeps a triple signal twice out to all handsets, it clears the voicemail notification. Since the phone does not support our voicemail system (requires SDT) we use another brand of phone in the household for our voicemail notifications (a quality phone brand), and turned it off on the Unidens. That's the best we can do, given the lack of completely finished engineering put into these models--but that's what you get for the price.

I'm having the same problem, too. However, the beeping continues and continues. Even when it stops, the light comes back on. Any other thoughts?
Blinded by the light

hold you finger for 5 seconds on the page (or find hs) button, that usually clears the blinking beep/light!!!
also make sure no old messages are in the VM inbox!
This worked for my phone!

Try resetting the phone:
Unplug the battery in the handset, unplug the phone line from the base and unplug the electricity from the base. If possible, leave everything unplugged for an hour or two instead of a couple to five minutes. That way you can get more of an idea of whether your phone will reset. After an hour or two plug in everything.
Hope this helps.
