MY AMANA OVEN DOES NOT WORK. THE TOP BURNERS

MY AMANA OVEN DOES NOT WORK. THE TOP BURNERS STILL WORK JUST NOT THE OVEN. i CAN NOT REMEMBER IF IT SHOULD CLICK WITH THE ELECTRIC START LIKE THE BURNERS. HOWEVER IT IS NOT CLICKING NOW (JUST NOT SURE IF IT EVER CLICKED OR NOT), I WAS THINKING IT MAY BE THAT THE IGNITOR IS BAD OR SOMETHING. WHEN I TURN THE KNOB, NOTHING HAPPENS. I DO NOT SMELL GAS EITHER (NOT THAT I AM AWARE OF ANYWAYS). PLEASE HELP.

    We have an Amana Model #ARG7102W that the oven does not work. The top burners and broiler work, but the oven does nothing. It will not work at all, we do not hear any gas or smell any gas. Have any idea what the problem might be? Could this be an ignitor problem?

How do i remove top of my amana gas stove

Most range tops for gas appliance can be lifted up by hand.
You may have a set of screws located just under the top just above the oven door. You should open your oven door and look up at the bottom of the range top to see if there are in fact any screws, if so remove them then lift.
If no screws you may need a small flat screwdriver to help lift the top. It does have a couple of snap clips that will hold it firm but they are just to hold it from moving during normal use.
Remember to remove your burner grates first.

I have an Amana AGR5715QDS and when I turn it on and set it for any temperature, lets say 350 degrees, it does not turn on or heat up. The stove top burners still work fine and the door appears to be OK,...

Hi. This sounds like a weak igniter, the symptoms usually are: burner won't light, or takes longer than normal to ignite the burner, may or may not smell gas in the oven, does not maintain set temperature or burner does not come on fully. On gas ovens, a glo igniter is like a light bulb, the more you cook, the faster it wears out. Bottom line, needs to be replaced. Good luck.

Amana gas oven not working

The ignitor may be too weak to open the gas valve. If you have a volt/ohm meter capable of reading AMPS you can hook up to a ignitor wire and turn the oven ON. If you read less than 3.5 amps replace the ignitor. If 3.5 amps or more are read,replace the gas valve.

I have a an AMANA gas stove burners work but oven doesn't

First check the book to see if you have a igniter on this stove if so it takes a moment or two to get started, if not you need to light pilot
make sure gas is getting to burner when called for by the thermostat or oven control..

Bottom oven won't turn on;

85% of these are usually the ignitor getting week and not allowing the gas valve to open prideapplianceser@sti.net
