Hi guys, My psp won't connect to the internet. The signal strength is at 100% and everything else connects fine (wii, pc, and laptop). I get error message saying could not establish access point check security settings any ideas? thanks
You need to enter the wep key, ONLY if you have wep enabled on the wireless connection.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service
Good luck!

First,
you have to go through the Internet connection setup process through
the console and you've made no mention that you've attempted that so I wanted
to make you aware of that. On the main menu, go to the lower left corner and
click on the round Wii button. A new menu will appear with two
options: Data Management and Wii Settings.
Select Wii Settings. Go to the second page and choose Internet.
Select Connection 1: None. Select Wireless
Connection. Select Search For An Access Point. A
network list will appear, select yours. You will then be prompted to
enter the password/network key that you established when you set up your
wireless router. The Wii will attempt to test the connection. If
successful save your settings.
Various factors affect connecting a Wii to the internet with a WiFi connection as well, including signal strength, distance from the
wireless router to the console and obstacles such as walls and ceilings that
interfere with the signal. If you're using a G router and you have your
Wii is too far away or, has obstacles in the way, it will not connect.
You should use an N-Router if there is a significant distance between the
console and the router or if there are obstacles. Here is everything you
need to know about connecting your Wii to the Internet.
