Roper Ice maker, replaced Ice maker, fills with water, freezes, but will not kick ice cubes out of tray. Seems to not be heating tray enough to eject ice.

Remove white plastic cover on ice maker. On bottom you will notice the heater connections, check for voltage. If good, heater is most likely bad.

Icemaker arm that sweeps ice from freezing tray hangs up on an ice cube at the end where the water inlet cup is located. Arm cannot continue to sweep ice out of freezing tray.

It sounds like the "freezing" tray may be over filling. If this is the case, replacing the water fill solenoid valve may fix the problem. Another possibility is the ice maker is not seated in its mounting screws properly and the water level is higher at one end than the other.

Not making ice

There are several possibilities for this and the dual water control valve is one of the possible problems. Try pouring tap water into ice maker tray if no cubes are present. Allow it to freeze and if the cubes drop then the water control valve part Click Here=> 2188542-1 Then you have a possibility that the ice maker thermostat is at fault item number 27 in photo here=> 627985 Ice Maker Thermostat Sometimes the problem is located inside ice maker and buying new makes it more worth the cost than the cost of replacement parts. My ice maker is letting too much water go into the ice tray so it freezes in a solid piece. Cubes do fall down but there is so much water it freezes into a solid block

The icemaker produces small cubes if the water fed into it is not enough and lumped together if too much water is supplied. In order to obtain the desired size of ice cubes, the amount of water supplied to the ice maker needs to be adjusted. Adjust the valve supplying water to the icemaker or the unit in general in such a way that right amount of water fills the ice tray.

Ice maker does not run. Tray fills with water and ice freezes but the cubes are not ejected into the tray. Wire loop is down.

You will probably need to replace your ice maker. There is a heater on the bottom that seperates the ice cube from the tray. More than likely this heater is defective, but it is all internal to the ice maker so you will need to replace the whole unit.

Ice freezes into one solid block and won't dump out of the tray

remove cube tray from ice maker. clean with limeaway adn rinse. Spray with a light coating of PAM cooking spray. wipe dry and reinstall. be careful not to damage the sensor ( in center of tray)

Ice maker is freezing to make ice, but the ice will not fall .

If it's filling too full of water (big, thick ice cubes) your water valve has failed.
If the cubes are normal size but th IM won't cycle into "harvest" to eject them, replace the whole IM.

My ice freezes together!

Do you mean the ice cubes are too large to be individual cubes and come out as a lump? The water is filled by a timed fill so if the fill solenoid stays open a little and drips water into the cube tray it will have more water than normal. I guess I'm not sure if you mean the ice cubes are stuck together in the tray or are they sticking together in the holding bin area?

The water continues to drip after the ice cube maker is full.

Sounds like the water fill solenoid valve is leaking by. You will have to change that solenoid valve if the water continues to drip into the ice maker tray after a normal fill cycle. http://www.partselect.com/AdvancedModelSearch.aspx?ModelNum=JCD2295HES&mfgModelNum=JCD2295HES&fkMfgID=1
