Charging port replacement

If you've tried other cords as well as tried holding down the power button for a minute and trying to restart your problem is most likely your micro usb port/pwr jack.
It has separated from the board and needs to be re-soldered and made sturdy again.
If you are great with a soldering iron you can do the repair after watching a few youtube videos but it is a tight and tiny repair.
If not I strongly recommend sending it to us. We are fast, thorough, very familiar and make the port more sturdy than factory original.

Is there a way of refurbishing the faded white legends on the keyboard of my Psion 5mx PDA? Or is there a repair company which undertakes such work?

You either need to buy a broken Psion with a good keyboard and replace the keyboard in your machine yourself. Look on Ebay.
The other way would be to trade-in your machine with one of the resellers that deal with Psion machines.
Problem made worse if you live outside the UK.

Hope this helps

Well, for one the keyboard is not working correctly and I want to know if I am able to forward messages because it seems as if I can't?

If you have a glitchy keyboard, your digitizer may be failing and HTC should replace it under warranty. If HTC doesn't replace it for you, you can get the touch panel at Nexus One Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at Electronics Repair Guide.

The keyboard no longer works. The phone turns on and off, but I can't make calls. I can receive calls by sliding the phone open.

This phone may need a keypad flex assembly. This is the assembly that includes the answer and hangup button. You can get a free repair diagnosis and estimate from cell phone repair services.

Tungsten E2 Keyboard Doesn't Work

One way around this problem is to touch the "DataVis Sheet To Go" (top left corner in black) icon and from there go to "Edit" and then "Keyboard".

try recalibrating your digitizer first
if that doesn't solve the problem then your physical digitizer is damaged (since the alpha and numeric buttons are both at the bottom and they are both broken) you'll have to replace it yourself or get a repair shop to do it for you. Don't forget you can still manage your data via the Palm Desktop software that came with your pda.

Palm treo 700w

Probably the only answer to these situations is to take it to a repairer and get a quote for repairs, then you can decide if the repair is cost effective or whether you need to get another unit.

Good luck.

I have lost a button on my wing phone ( the button under the talk button)

I have had the same issue twice now, both times I was able to buy replacement buttons on e bay for about 10 dollars, however there is no instructions, and I think it was my fault it broke the second time because they are so delicate and difficult to replace without breaking a clip. However they are cheap and easy to find on e bay if you wanna chance the repair yourself!!
