Question about Canon PIXMA MP150 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a canon pixma mp160, the inks are brand new, the paper is full. I connect it to my laptop by usb. It worked fine and then for some unknown reason, it stopped working. When I ask it to print, it tells me the printer spooler service is not running. So I turn that on and ask it to print, and it turns off the spooler service and tells me things like bi=directional support is not enabled. I found that and it was enabled already. What else to do?
Un-install the printer and it's associated software via the Control Panel of your Windows PC.
Reboot your computer with the printer turned off and the USB cable unplugged.
Go to the Canoin web site and download the latest version of the driver for your operating system.
Run the driver install following the instructions in the install wizard.
Once the wizard is done, you should be OK again. If not, reboot and test the printer again. If it is still not working properly then you probably have a Windows problem and not a printer problem
