Be certain your radio is turned off when you initially plug in the earpiece, then after turning on the radio, immediately press the PTT on the earpiece. On most models this initialization syncs the earpiece PTT to the radio. We have experienced a few older model radios which require the radio's PTT to be pressed once, followed by the eapiece's PTT, to initialize, but this is rare. The other possiblity is the earpiece was not made to match the radio you are using it on. The position of the rings on the 2.5mm and 3.5mm jacks can make a difference between models of radios.

Best regards.

Hi, Earpiece can get damaged if there is dirt or the earpiece is totally damaged.
You can clean up the earpiece and see if it will work, if it doesn't work, you will need to replace it.

If the earpiece of your phone is not working, it means the earpiece of your phone is bad and will need to be replaced.

All you need to do is to change the earpiece of your phone and you will see that you can hear what people are saying while making or receiving calls.

Change the earpiece as advice and you see your problem with the earpiece is solved.

Take care.

My phone only works with the earpiece or speaker

the Motorola phone your talking about is not specified.First the problem can be solved.

It is an earpiece problem. The earpiece it faulty and it needs a replacement.

Some Motorola phones earpiece is attached to the flex of the phone, while some as an earpiece, which the flex is it can still be fixed.

I can't hear the person talking on the phone earpiece. The volume is on high and the speaker phone works fine?

It can be that the earpiece is broken. Try calling someone without using any earpiece, if that works that proves the earpiece is damaged or broken.

If that doesn't work, then the speaker in your phone must be damaged.

Hope i helped you, thanks.

The earpiece does not work

99% of a non working earpiece is in the earpiece itself.,in the wire,in the part of Jack's root.Due to a regular movement when you are using it there is the risk to cut or detach the very thin wire on it..But,on the other hand, check your earpiece to use it on other cellphone, and if it works, then the problem is on your fon itself.

You can get your PUK Code from your service provider. Should be a quick call after they verify your account info. Unfortunately there is not DEFAULT PUK Code and provider is the only one that can tell you what your SIM PUK was set to.

Please don't forget to mark if this solution solved your issue.
