Re: logitech EX110 multimedia

After buying my ex110 from my sisters work (a electronics store) i got it home, installed it all, used it 24/7 for about 3weeks then
keyboard stops working FULLSTOP!!!!
wait i rephrase that.. volume button works.. on ocasions!
so now i use a EX110 mouse and the POS keyboard collects dust in the corner of my room..
After returning it to the store i was not given a refund on the product becasue the KB made a fool of me and worked perfectly for customer service.
Uninstalled all Logitech hardware on my pc.. still nothing.. since then i have formatted my HDD's and guess what.. nothing still.
well at least i bought a nice dust collector... GRR!

solutions anyone?

Cordless Desktop EX110 Mouse isnt working

Computers wont recognise user errors. Just kidding. i had the same issue with mine. After some period of time it will begin to do what i call Freeze Response. Where the computer recognizes it's function is there, but the mouse is considerably frozen. this works for me. If you still have the Cd than unplug your mouse and reinstall it. if you reinstall it with the mouse in, it just fixes software errors.

Turn your pc off, unplug your mouse. Take out the batteries. boot up your pc, wait till everything loads up into windows or MAC, plug in your mouse, put the batteries back in. And wait for it to automatically connect. if it does not hold the connect on mouse and press connect on receiver. You should be on your way hopefully.

Logitech Mouse Not Working

Normal 0 Are your batteries in the Keyboard and mouse good?

You probably have gotten it working by now but here is a way to get it work if not.

Press the Receiver button a(and the lights will start flashing, then if its the Keyboard that isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect.

If its the MOUSE do the same except push the small RESET?CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect. Then they should work properly. Hope this helps. Bud

I have a logitech EX110 keyboard and mouse

if your computer does not have mouse and keyboard markings it is possible you have them switched. I have seen computers that color code and mixing brands of keyboards and mouse's will confuse you when you get them switched around. Both plugs look the same but will only work in the correct spot. If this is not your problem, and you have usb stuff then.. It is possible that there is something wrong with your on board usb. if your keyboard does not have any lights that come on then i would try adding in a usb pci card for now. Press caps lock button to see if the light works. also number lock.

Mouse not working

First try uninstalling the Setpoint software. Xp should have a native driver for your mouse. If that does not work check to see (at the Setpoint website) if they have an undated driver. Download and do it again. You might also want to run scandisk just to make sure you do not have a cross linked file before going anything else.

Look on underside of keyboard there should be a button to push that will transmit to the receiver
1st push the button on the receiver
2nd make sure batteries are inserted in right direction into keyboard then push the botton on bottom of keyboard
