THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION, HOWEVER THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE. IF ONE LABEL IS SENT TO THE PRINTER THEN IT PRINTS FOLLOWED BY A BLANK LABEL.

Hello David,

You have to make sure that the printer is not running out of ink.

Try to uninstall/re-install the printer driver. This often resolves the issue about printing problem.

Having the same problem here... very random... send a print job of labels and it will print the whole lot, or freeze at random points but always halfway through a label... no error message... unplug usb and replug doesnt do anything, but unplug and replug power and off it goes printing more lables but may even freeze again after only a few more have come out... also, every day the first print job of the day prints half the label and pauses for about 10 seconds then keeps going...

How do I copy a format file from a Cognitive AdvantageLX printer to a file. I need to transfer the format file from one printer to another because I don't have the original format file on hand.

Use this command from the CPL programming manual. Sorry I have never tried it so I do not have more detail. I'm looking to find a way to get the source of a label format since I need to modify one. Any input would be appreciated.
Get Object Data
Function This command is used to get the binary data of an
object.
Explicit Form !OBJECT UPLOAD location id
location
Memory location to store the defined
variable. The following memory
areas are available:
0 – Volatile Ram
3 – Nonvolatile Ram (Flash)
Parameters
id Stored object identifier assigned
when the object was first stored.
Comments This command can be used to get an object out of
one printer, and then download the object and use it
in another printer.
This command does not require a header line, but
must be followed by a line feed (or carriage return
and line feed). Do not use any other commands with
!OBJECT UPLOAD.
Example This will send the binary data for the Ultrafont B in
Volatile Ram to the current communication port

There is a label stuck under the roller. This is causing the labels to jam when printing.

Platen roller needs to be taken out to remove label. Recommend, sending unit in for service.
