Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
What is wrong here, is that you have an incorrectly selected keyboard.
For example, you have a UK machine, and it is set to USA keyboard.
Goto START / CONTROL PANEL / REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE SETTINGS. Under each tab (menu), be sure that all the country, language, and keyboard settings match the country you are in.
Then reboot, all should be fine.

Disable scroll lock, caps lock in bios, this enable lower case keys on the keyboard, thus not right key asigns. Or if drink is spilled on keyboard....replace keyboard JJ
